Welcome to the Southampton Vixens Cheerleading and Dance page, we have lots of exciting opportunities for everyone! 

Our club is made up of 6 Squads: Competition Cheer Squad (Level 3), Competition Cheer Squad (Level 2), Competition Cheer Squad (Level 1), Competition Stunt Group (Level 3), Varsity Cheer Squad, & a Competition Dance Team. All our Competition Squads compete nationally and have previously been very successful, with our Level 2 and Stunt Group teams becoming National Champions in our 24-25 season! Our coaches cannot wait to continue this amazing success next season and hope to see some fresh faces joining their teams.  

Our Varsity Squads have continued to grow from strength to strength, integrating further into the AU with performances at Varsity, Rugby and Basketball games, all whilst maintaining support for the American Football Team. This year Varsity have done both a pom routine and a stunt routine! We cannot wait to see the same successes replicated in the 25-26 season.

*WELCOME 2025-2026 INFORMATION*

• Come and find us at Bunfight on the 24th September!! We can give you all the information about Vixens Cheerleading and answer any questions you may have.
• We will be holding a meet and greet at Revolution Bar Southampton @ 7:30pm on Monday the 29th September. Come along to meet our committee members, ask them any questions you have, and get to know a bit more about our society!
• Our first social is on the 1st October @ 7:30pm, and this is a great opportunity to meet new people and make friends.

Friday 26th September @ Glen Eyre Hall 

• Cheerleading Taster 1: 12pm-2pm
• Competition Dance Taster: 2:30pm-3:30pm
• Cheerleading Taster 2: 4pm-6pm

Tryouts

Tryout sessions work in a slot system that run within the times below:

• Cheerleading: Sunday 28th September 2pm-6pm @ Glen Eyre Hall
• Dance: Sunday 28th September 6pm-9pm @ Activities Room in building 44 (SUSU)
• Cheerleading: Tuesday 30th September 7:30-10pm @ Glen Eyre Hall
