Roosters (Football)

Southampton University Medics Football Club (AKA The Roosters) is a club that enjoys putting in big performances both on and off the pitch. Our 1st team compete at a high standard against other universities in the BUCS league and our 2nd team play other societies within the university in the intramural league. We also compete against other medical schools in NAMS competitions We cater for all abilities ranging from a couple of semi-pro players to those with two left feet that just want to have some fun. Joining The Roosters is a great way to meet like-minded people and make friends. The Roosters have players from 1st year through to 5th year with occasional appearances from doctors. The club therefore serves as an excellent way to gain insightful advice and quickly get to grips with the course.
