Southampton SU goes to Oxford!

Discover Oxford, a city that lives and breathes academic prestige and timeless charm. With more than a thousand years of history, it invites you into a world filled with awe-inspiring architecture, from the glistening spires of the University of Oxford to the grand halls and quiet courtyards that seem to hold stories of every era. Wander through the iconic Bodleian Library, explore the treasures of the Ashmolean Museum and take in the beauty of streets that have inspired generations of writers, thinkers and dreamers.

08:00 – We begin our trip with a coach pick-up from the pick-up point in Southampton. Our Trip Leaders will ensure that everyone has arrived and is ready to depart.

When we arrive, enjoy a gentle amble around Christ Church Meadow. Spend time getting to know the rest of the group and enjoy visiting some incredible landmarks together!

Fuel up ready for the afternoon by grabbing some lunch wherever you fancy.

In the afternoon, regroup with your Trip Leaders and the professional walking tour guide for the walking tour in Oxford. Visit the top sights in this city and learn some fun facts whilst exploring all of the hidden gems with the group.

After the walking tour, you have the option to join a visit to the Ashmolean Museum. Our Trip Leaders will guide you to the museum where you can spend the rest of the day exploring fascinating history, art and culture.

17:00 – Meet back at the coach pick up point to return home to Southampton.
